Care instructions:
Caring for your jewellery can be extremely daunting, especially when no one has ever told you how. At the Artisan Partisan I like to follow 6 key rules to keep my jewellery looking shiny and new.
How to keep your jewellery happy! (Yes, your bling has feelings too... probably)
1. Moisture = Mood killer
Jewellery + water = nope. Keep your sparkle squad dry at all times. Rain, sweat, steamy bathrooms? Hard pass. They prefer dry vibes only.
2. They need beauty sleep too
Before you dive into dreamland, take your jewellery off. They don't like getting tangled in your sheets, and trust me, they'd rather chill in their box than risk a midnight wrestling match with your pillow.
3. Let lotions chill
Perfume, lotion, suncream- great for you, not so great for your jewellery. Let that stuff dry before putting them on. Sticky metal = sad metal.
4. No swimming allowed
Pools, oceans, hot tubs, bubble baths- sounds fun, right? Not for your jewellery. Chlorine and saltwater are sparkle assassins. Take them off and let them watch from the sidelines.
5. Home sweet (sealed) home
When they're not dazzling the world, store them in a cozy, closed bag or box. Not only does it keep them safe, but it also prevents them from becoming a tangled, dusty mess.
6. Treat them to a spa day
Give them a little TLC every now and then with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals, just a gentle polish to keep their shine game strong.
Keep it dry, give it a rest, store it right, clean it soft and no skinny dipping.
